2026 Senior Class – Leaving Their Legacy
The West Nassau Girls Soccer program would like to recognize and thank our 11 seniors for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to the team. Over the years they have helped build our program both on and off the field, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished.
We wish each of them the very best as they graduate and move on to the next chapter of their lives. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior. ⚽

End of an Era
Lady Warriors Soccer Supporters,
I wanted to take a moment and say a sincere “thank you” for the support, not for me, but for these amazing young women that I have had the pleasure to coach over the last four years. In that time, we have proven that our awesome small town can produce athletes that can compete with the best in our area in this beautiful game.
It has become apparent to me that I no longer have the energy to be the coach that the next generation deserves and I believe the honorable thing is to step aside and help find the leader that these players and this community deserve. Simply put, I have given everything I have to this program, and soccer in our area, and could not be more proud of the results.
A sincere thank you to Principal Pearce, AD Ritchie Knott, and the entire WNHS Athletics family who created an environment for us to be successful and whose support I will be forever thankful. And to the parents who have continued and will continue to be a driving force in the future success of this program. To the Lady Warriors Soccer Booster Club, which is a unique entity in our area, for supporting a program that simply isn’t the best equipped for player development without you moving mountains for these student-athletes. But mostly, to the players. Those who built the foundation through our time at Callahan Middle School and the players who truly put in the blood, the sweat, and the tears and gave me a reason to believe every single day.
With admiration, love, and continued support,
Coach Shannon
