Lady Warriors Under the Lights!
We’re continuing to love seeing all the different ways our Lady Warriors are staying on the field and putting in the work this offseason!
Four of our girls are spending their Monday nights playing with Callahan Soccer Club this season, getting touches on the ball, working on their conditioning, competing, and having some fun playing co-ed soccer!
While some of our Lady Warriors are hitting the field with Nassau United on the weekends, these girls are getting their game time in on Monday nights — and we love seeing our players taking advantage of every opportunity to keep playing and growing before high school season begins.
Great job tonight, ladies! Keep putting in the work!
Lady Warrior soccer season is getting closer!
Lady Warriors on the Sideline!
We’ve loved recognizing the different ways our Lady Warriors are staying involved in soccer this offseason!
This season, two of our girls are taking on another role in the game as Assistant Referees (ARs) with Callahan Soccer Club!
Working the sideline gives them a different view of the game—learning and applying the rules, watching plays develop, making calls, and gaining another perspective they can carry back onto the field as players.
We’re proud to see our Lady Warriors continuing to learn the game in new ways, and we’d LOVE to see even more of our girls grab a flag and give it a try in the future!
Way to represent, Lady Warriors!

LADY WARRIORS IN ACTION
The high school season may still be ahead of us, but our Lady Warriors are already back on the field! Several of our players kicked off their United season this weekend with the U16 and U18 teams.
We love seeing our girls continuing to compete, grow, and represent Lady Warriors Soccer beyond the high school field. Good luck this season, girls!

PUTTING IN THE WORK
Voluntary summer conditioning has officially wrapped up! We're proud of the Lady Warriors who spent part of their summer showing up, putting in the work, encouraging one another, and preparing for the season ahead.
These summer sessions were about more than conditioning—they were an opportunity to work, grow, and start building together before the season even begins.
One step closer to soccer season!

A Word From Your New Coach
Lady Warriors,
Now that all the paperwork is completed I wanted to jump on here and say a few words.
I could not be more excited and honored to step in as the new Head Coach of the Lady Warriors soccer program.
This program means something special. As a West Nassau Warrior soccer alumni, I know the pride that comes with wearing this jersey and representing this school. The memories, friendships, and successes I experienced as part of the warrior soccer program were some of the best parts of being a student athlete, which makes this opportunity to come back and lead this team truly meaningful.
I’ve already had the chance to coach several of you at the club level, and I know the talent, heart, and determination that exist within this team. I’m excited to work with our returning players and welcome the next generation of Lady Warriors as we prepare for an exciting season ahead.
Our goal is simple: compete with passion, work hard, and build a team culture that represents what Warrior soccer is all about. We will push each other, respect each other, support each other, and take pride every single time we step onto the field.
This season is about more than wins and losses. It’s about creating a standard, building a family, and leaving a legacy for the players who come after us.
The future of Lady Warriors soccer is bright, and I cannot wait to get started.
Now it’s time to get to work. Condition yourselves during the offseason and be ready when conditioning and tryouts begin for the upcoming season.
Go Lady Warriors!
Coach Dean Bare
Stay tuned to our social media pages for upcoming voluntary strength and conditioning opportunities! We’ll also be sharing pre-season expectations, tryout preparation tips, and ways to get ready for a successful season.

2026 Senior Class – Leaving Their Legacy
The West Nassau Girls Soccer program would like to recognize and thank our 11 seniors for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to the team. Over the years they have helped build our program both on and off the field, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished.
We wish each of them the very best as they graduate and move on to the next chapter of their lives. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior. ⚽

End of an Era
Lady Warriors Soccer Supporters,
I wanted to take a moment and say a sincere “thank you” for the support, not for me, but for these amazing young women that I have had the pleasure to coach over the last four years. In that time, we have proven that our awesome small town can produce athletes that can compete with the best in our area in this beautiful game.
It has become apparent to me that I no longer have the energy to be the coach that the next generation deserves and I believe the honorable thing is to step aside and help find the leader that these players and this community deserve. Simply put, I have given everything I have to this program, and soccer in our area, and could not be more proud of the results.
A sincere thank you to Principal Pearce, AD Ritchie Knott, and the entire WNHS Athletics family who created an environment for us to be successful and whose support I will be forever thankful. And to the parents who have continued and will continue to be a driving force in the future success of this program. To the Lady Warriors Soccer Booster Club, which is a unique entity in our area, for supporting a program that simply isn’t the best equipped for player development without you moving mountains for these student-athletes. But mostly, to the players. Those who built the foundation through our time at Callahan Middle School and the players who truly put in the blood, the sweat, and the tears and gave me a reason to believe every single day.
With admiration, love, and continued support,
Coach Shannon
